About this basket
An open-weave wicker garden trug with an open-rib side pattern that lets light through, finished with a hand-plaited braided rim. Woven in our family workshop from pale and unpeeled rods, 70 cm long.
Good for
Cut flowers, a full vegetable harvest, a farmers' market haul, picnic supplies, or a lighter-looking basket for a hallway or shop display.
Why it lasts
Open-rib sides make the trug lighter to carry, and the braided rim locks every rib in place. The tall handle is woven tight and reinforced by hand to carry real weight for years.
