About this piece

🌾 Our largest and most beautiful bird feeder, an extra-large pagoda-style feeder handwoven in our family workshop in Lithuania from willow we grow ourselves. A tall pointed roof flares out into a wide woven brim, and a bundle of willow rods with a metal ring crowns the top for hanging. Branch posts with the bark left on hold the roof above a round wooden platform with a deep woven rim.

Hang it from a strong branch or beam, or stand it on a garden table, and fill the platform with seed. The wide brim covers the whole platform, and birds come in through the open sides.

Dimensions (approx.)
– Diameter: 50–55 cm / 19.7–21.7 in
– Height: 50–55 cm / 19.7–21.7 in
– Opening between rim and roof: 10–15 cm / 3.9–5.9 in

Care

Keep it dry and wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Kept away from radiators and long damp spells, handwoven willow lasts for decades.
