About this basket
A long wicker firewood basket with two side handles, so a full load of split logs is carried with both hands at a comfortable height. Handwoven in Lithuania in a long, low oval that slides in beside a stove.

Split firewood by the hearth, a big garden harvest, seasonal displays of pinecones and dried branches, blankets in a wide living-room corner.
Why it lasts
The reinforced open weave holds its shape under real weight, and the two handles spread the load instead of concentrating it on one rim. Longer or taller versions can be made to order.
