About this basket
A large wicker flower basket in golden willow, with a boat-shaped body that rises at both ends and a base that fans out like sunbeams. Woven in our family workshop, 57 cm long.
Good for
An armful of long-stemmed flowers, a flower basket for a wedding aisle, a garden harvest of herbs and lettuces, or a display piece in a shop window.
Why it lasts
The raised ends keep tall stems from sliding out, and the fan-woven base is stiff enough that the basket does not bend in the middle when you lift it by the handle.
