About this piece

🌾 A round wicker waste basket with a woven lid, handwoven from willow in our family workshop in Lithuania. The lid lifts straight off by its small arched handle and has a thick plaited edge, and the peeled willow sides have raised woven bands.

Use it as a covered bin in a bathroom, bedroom or home office – a standard bin bag fits inside – or as closed storage for towels, toys, yarn or laundry.

Three sizes (approx.)

Care

Keep it dry and wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Kept away from radiators and long damp spells, handwoven willow lasts for decades.
