About this basket
A round-bellied wicker foraging basket with a sturdy braided rim and a curved handle, in a two-tone weave with a warm brown band. Handwoven in Lithuania, 33 cm across.
Good for
Mushroom foraging, flowers and herbs on a countryside walk, apples and pears from the orchard, a counter or entryway basket at home.
Why it lasts
The deep belly holds a full pick, and the open weave lets spores disperse as you walk, the way traditional gathering baskets were meant to. The braided rim reinforces the opening.
