About this piece

🌾 A tall bird feeder handwoven from willow in our family workshop in Lithuania. A bell-shaped woven roof rises into a tied spire of willow rods, and branch posts hold it above a round wooden platform with a woven rim.

Hang it by the loop at the top of the spire and fill the platform with sunflower seed, mixed grain or chopped nuts. The sides are open all the way round, so birds can land from any direction.

Dimensions (approx.)

Care

Keep it dry and wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Kept away from radiators and long damp spells, handwoven willow lasts for decades.
