About this basket
A wicker bread box: a tray in warm gold topped with a domed lid, woven in our family workshop. 46 cm long — a whole loaf and the rolls beside it, with the lid keeping dust and hands off.
Good for
Bread on the counter, pastries at brunch, fruit within reach of the table, or a flat serving tray for cheese and snacks when the lid comes off.
Details
The tight, breathable weave lets air circulate under the lid, so bread keeps its crust instead of going soft as it does in a sealed box.
