About this piece

🌾 A market basket with a handle, handwoven from unpeeled willow in our family workshop in Lithuania. The body narrows to a wide oval mouth with a thick plaited rim, and a raised woven band runs around the middle. The arched handle is twisted from several rods and bound into the sides with woven collars.

Take it to the market or the shop, use it for picking apples or cut flowers, or indoors for throws and kindling.

Care
