About this basket
At 74 cm long, this extra large wicker basket is really a garden trug for people who carry big things: an armful of firewood, a whole row of vegetables, a bucket's worth of cut flowers. Woven in our family workshop with a thick twisted handle bound at both sides.

Why it lasts
The boat-shaped body has raised ends, so a heavy load sits low and stable in the middle. The open weave lets soil and leaves fall through as you carry.
