About this basket
A wicker mushroom basket with a deliberately lopsided body — one side rises higher than the other, so it sits easily on a hip and tips its contents toward you when you set it down. Woven in our family workshop with a two-tone open weave and a thick, comfortable handle.
Good for
Mushroom and berry foraging, onions and garlic in the kitchen, bread on the table, or a sculptural catch-all for keys and scarves by the door.
Why it lasts
Solid willow all the way through, no plastic core. The asymmetric shape is part of the weave itself, so it holds its line for years.
