About this basket
A large wicker firewood trug in golden willow framed top and bottom with a dark contrasting border. Woven in our family workshop, 70 cm long, one tall arched handle.
Good for
An armful of firewood or kindling, a full vegetable harvest, freshly cut flowers, a farmers' market haul.
Why it lasts
The dark borders at rim and base frame the golden body and sit exactly where a working trug takes the most knocks. The handle is woven tight and reinforced by hand for years of use.
