About this basket
An unpeeled willow picnic basket with two flip-top lids, woven in our family workshop with the bark left on the rods for a deeper colour and a noticeably tougher surface. 52 cm long.

A full picnic for four, a market basket that keeps the shopping covered, or blanket storage with a lid at home.
Why it lasts
Bark-on willow resists scuffs better than stripped rod, which matters on a basket that gets set down on grass and gravel. The double lids close flat and stay closed while you carry.
