About this piece

🌾 A flower gathering trug, handwoven from willow in our family workshop in Lithuania. It is large and oval, the upper sides have an open-rib weave, and the one tall handle is woven tight and reinforced by hand.

It is roomy enough for an armful of cut flowers, a vegetable harvest or market shopping.

Care

Keep it dry and wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Kept away from radiators and long damp spells, handwoven willow lasts for decades.
