About this piece

🌾 A large wicker gathering basket, handwoven from unpeeled Lithuanian willow in our family workshop. The bark is left on, which gives it a rougher texture. It has one sturdy twisted handle.

For mushroom and berry picking, carrying a garden harvest to the kitchen, or storing blankets or garden tools. While new, unpeeled willow can shift slightly with heat or light – gently reshape it by hand until it settles.

Care

Keep it dry and wipe with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Kept away from radiators and long damp spells, handwoven willow lasts for decades.
